Welcome to Hi English Quiz. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of hienglishquiz.com and all quizzes, tests, and features on it (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. Provide accurate information, keep your login credentials safe, and let us know right away if you suspect someone else is using your account. One person, one account.

2. Free plan and hearts

On the free plan you have up to 10 hearts. A wrong answer in a Question Set costs 1 heart (capped at 3 per quiz). Hearts regenerate over time (currently 1 every 30 minutes for free accounts). You can also refill by watching a rewarded ad (up to 4 per day). The Daily Quiz and mistake review never cost hearts.

3. Premium

Premium is a paid subscription that raises your heart cap to 100 (regenerating 10 per hour) and removes ads. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown before you pay and may change with notice.

4. Ability score and levels

Your ability score is a statistical estimate that updates with every graded answer. It is provided for learning purposes only, has no monetary value, and is not an official language certificate. We may recalibrate the scoring system to keep levels accurate.

5. Fair play

Don't use bots or scripts, create multiple accounts to farm leaderboards or hearts, exploit bugs, or interfere with the Service. We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Our content

Questions, explanations, the mascot, and everything else on the Service belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own learning. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or republish the question bank or any part of it.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. Paid periods already started are not refunded unless the law requires it.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
